Here is what I woke up to after a mere 20 minutes of surgery! An inch long incision gets you a cast from fingers to elbow.
The surgery went well, although I was 3rd on the schedule and the surgeon got to me almost 3 hours late. Thankfully, he didn't try to catch up on me! I still have a tiny bit of numbness in two fingers, but the majority is gone, and the Dr. says that this lingering numbness should eventually go away.
I get the cast off tomorrow morning. YAY! It itches like crazy....and two fingered typing makes for some slow going!
